On the afternoon of January 22, 2026, Henan Longxiang Electric Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Office of Development and Cooperation of Henan Vocational College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, organized a safety production training session accompanied by a practical fire drill. Attending the event were Wei Fude, Deputy Director of the Office of Development and Cooperation at Henan Vocational College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering; Li Xingjian, Safety Officer; Li Hongbin, Deputy General Manager of Longxiang Group; Zhang Xinde, Management Consultant; and Sun Shuai, Deputy Director of the Production Center. All employees from the Longhu plant participated in the activity, and Management Consultant Zhang Xinde served as the lead instructor for this training session.

The training began with a comparative video of two accidents, using real-life cases to sound an urgent alarm about safety. Zhang Xinde, focusing on the "Work Safety Law of the People's Republic of China," explained the safety principle of "people first, life first," and clarified the "three-manage-and-three-musts" responsibility system—according to which "managing an industry, managing business operations, and managing production and management must all include managing safety." He also clearly defined the safety responsibilities of every employee in the company, from management levels down to individual team members. At the same time, he emphasized strict requirements such as requiring certified personnel for special operations, regular maintenance of safety equipment, and proper use of personal protective equipment by all workers.

In the electrical safety knowledge section, Zhang Xinde elaborated on specialized topics such as voltage level classification, insulation types, and current risk thresholds. He clearly defined key standards, including “safe voltage not exceeding 36 volts” and “lethal current of 100 milliamperes per second,” and provided specific guidance for practical scenarios such as static electricity protection in workshops and proper use of power strips. Regarding the critical point that “safety helmets must be worn in production workshops,” Zhang Xinde demonstrated on-site the correct procedure for wearing a safety helmet, meticulously explaining each step—from adjusting the tightness of the liner to securely fastening the chinstrap—thereby reinforcing everyone’s awareness of head protection safety.

After the theoretical training concluded, all personnel moved to the west gate of the workshop to conduct a hands-on fire-fighting drill. Sun Shuai, deputy director of the Production Center, provided on-site instruction on the standard operating procedures for portable fire extinguishers—“lift, pull, grip, and press”—and clearly demonstrated key practical points such as the spray angle and working distance. Subsequently, Li Hongbin, Deputy General Manager of Longxiang Group, Wei Fude, Deputy Director of the Development and Cooperation Office at Henan College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Li Xingjian, Safety Officer, took the lead in participating in the hands-on exercise. All company employees then took turns practicing the use of fire extinguishers, transforming their theoretical knowledge into practical emergency response skills.

This event adopted a “theory + practice” approach, enabling the precise dissemination of safe production knowledge and the practical application of emergency response skills. It not only strengthened all employees’ awareness of safety laws and their professional knowledge base but also provided a practical platform for fostering collaborative efforts between the company and the university to bolster the safety defense line in production.
