Henan Longxiang Electric Power Research Institute Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive scientific research institution jointly established by Henan Longxiang Electric Co., Ltd. and Xi'an Jiaotong University and Henan Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College, which mainly focuses on the pioneering and innovative work in the fields of electric power products, electric power engineering, electric power service and electric power vocational education. The institute consists of six centers: Intelligent Distribution Center, Electric Power Design Center, Engineering Technology Center, Measurement and Testing Center, Operation and Maintenance Center and Electric Power Vocational Education Center. Through the establishment and interconnection of the six centers, a new platform for innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of intelligent power distribution is formed. This platform not only solves the problem that enterprises lack a large number of high-precision talents and deeper technological innovation, but also solves the problem that the scientific research topics of universities are not grounded and the transformation rate of scientific research results is low, and allows teachers and students to find a better learning and exercise platform, teachers and students of the school and the enterprise's technicians are fully combined together, the theory and practice are completely unified, which solves the common needs of the two sides of the school and the enterprise and reaches the goal of “the success of society, students, schools and enterprises”. Measurement and Testing Center
Measurement and Testing Center is mainly engaged in the measurement and testing of various meters and instrumentation such as mutual inductors. It mainly consists of two major groups, Instrumentation Specialty Group: It is mainly engaged in the research of DC voltage, current, power, resistance, component and instrument measurement and metrology and testing in the field of insulation and grounding in the field of medium and low voltage power distribution, as well as the transfer of quantity and value and calibration in the related fields. Magnetic Measurement and Transformer Group: mainly engaged in the establishment of current and voltage transformers, high voltage and magnetic measurement standards and research on metrological testing in the field of dielectric strength, as well as quantity and value transfer and calibration in related fields.
Operation and Maintenance Center
The Operation and Maintenance Center is mainly engaged in on-site installation, commissioning and after-sales service of power distribution equipment on the basis of power engineering companies, and contracting for the follow-up service of power distribution equipment in operation on the market, including inspection, maintenance, measurement, overhaul and other professional operation and maintenance services for power distribution equipment.
Power Vocational Education Center
Power Vocational Education Center mainly implements the vocational education reform of “production, learning and research”, and explores a new education model and school management system for China's vocational education by carrying out changes in curriculum design, innovation in teaching mode, building new teaching bases that are closely integrated with employment, setting up a team of teachers with rich experience in practical training, and producing courseware and teaching materials with unique core technologies. A brand-new education model and school-running mechanism is explored for Chinese vocational education.
Engineering Technology Center
The Engineering Technology Center mainly focuses on the research and development, design and technical solutions of energy-saving products in the field of power distribution, including energy-efficient amorphous alloy transformers, high and low switchgear sets, reactive power compensation series products, amorphous alloy reactors, intelligent ancillary products and related secondary protection products.
Power Design Center
Power Design Center is to undertake the projects of 220kV and below substation and engineering technology center on the basis of power design institute. It also carries out electric power engineering technical consulting, preliminary engineering exploration, electric power engineering design and electric power engineering management according to the needs of customers.
Intelligent Distribution Center
Based on the strategy of national intelligent distribution network construction, the Intelligent Distribution Network Center carries out innovative research in the directions of new energy and new material technology for distribution network, microgrid construction, grid energy storage technology, intelligent distribution network construction, intelligent components for distribution network, information automation for distribution network, flexible transmission and distribution and customized electric power technology, and so on.
