To deeply implement the national dual carbon goals, accurately connect with industries, promote school-enterprise cooperation, and deepen collaborative education between schools and enterprises, on the morning of October 24, a delegation led by Yang Hongwei, General Manager of Longxiang Group, was invited to attend the school-enterprise cooperation promotion meeting at Zhengzhou Electric Power Vocational Technical College.
The meeting was hosted by Li Jiehu, Vice President of Zhengzhou Electric Power Vocational Technical College. Attendees included Du Fulei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive President, Lian Yinling, Vice President, Feng Jianqin, Dean of the Green Low-Carbon Technology College, Wei Jihong, Secretary, Yang Xiangtao, Deputy Secretary, and Jin Jianfeng, Deputy Director of the Training Center. Yang Hongwei, General Manager of Longxiang Electric Group, Zhang Xinde, Chief Engineer, Sun Fuyuan, Chairman of Longxiang Education Company, Wang Fan, General Manager, and Zhang Xiaoqing, Head of the Training Department participated in the discussion.
President Du warmly welcomed Yang Hongwei and his delegation from Longxiang Electric Group and highlighted the school's history, educational achievements, 'Double High' construction, and development positioning. Zhengzhou Electric Power Vocational Technical College, established in 1996, is a general higher vocational college that integrates power, electromechanical, construction, automotive, information, economics and trade, and arts programs. It currently has ten teaching departments and aims to become a high-level institution specializing in electric power and electromechanical—green low-carbon technology. General Manager Yang detailed the company's development history, core business, achievements, and future direction. He stated that Longxiang Electric, as a comprehensive enterprise engaged in the research, production, and sales of intelligent energy-saving power distribution switchgear and its secondary control automation technology, has always attached great importance to cooperation with universities. He hopes that through this meeting, both parties can further deepen cooperation in talent cultivation, power operation and maintenance, scientific research collaboration, laboratory construction, and curriculum development, achieving resource sharing and mutual benefits. Subsequently, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on the Ministry of Education's supply-demand matching education project, the design research of integrated intelligent charging piles for wind and solar storage in key scientific research projects of higher education institutions in Henan Province, the joint construction of research and development centers, industry colleges, smart campuses, and practical training and employment.
The successful holding of this school-enterprise cooperation promotion meeting not only provided a good cooperation platform for Zhengzhou Electric Power Vocational Technical College and Henan Longxiang Electric Co., Ltd., but also laid a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation between the two parties. Both sides expressed that they would take this meeting as an opportunity to carry out in-depth cooperation in building research platforms, scientific research projects, industry colleges, internship training bases, and collaborative education between schools and enterprises, continuously enhancing the alignment and contribution of both parties' needs, and achieving a new situation of complementary advantages and mutual benefits.
